Often misunderstood as bright, we have found that high-quality Ultem actually delivers a deep, warm, and saturated tone. Its density allows it to absorb harsh transients, resulting in a fat, rounded sound with incredible stiffness. -
Polycarbonate – The Smooth Foundation
Similar in behavior to Ultem, Polycarbonate offers a clean, warm response. It is exceptionally impact-resistant and provides a smooth, “liquid” feel across the strings. -
Micarta – The Vintage Soul
A composite laminate that mimics the feel of organic materials. It offers a “dry,” woody resonance with a textured grip that matures with age. -
UHMWPE – The Silent Glide
The lowest friction coefficient in our arsenal. We use a specialized Thermal-Polishing technique to master this stubborn material, resulting in a buttery-smooth attack with zero pick-noise.
