Jazz Guitar Plectrum – High-Performance PEEK Plastic, Unique Design
Handmade guitar picks made of high quality PEEK plastic with drilled holes and glow-in-the-dark material in the central part. The surface is matte finished on both sides.
Speed Bevel – What Is It?
A right-hand speed bevel is an asymmetrical, diagonally shaved edge on a guitar pick that mimics the natural wear pattern created by a right-handed player. If you hold your pick in your right hand and slice the string at an angle, a speed bevel allows the pick to glide smoothly past the string with minimal resistance, dramatically increasing your alternate picking speed and reducing "chirpy" pick noise.
Specifications
- Shape: Jazz
- Dimensions: Length: 27mm, Width: 24mm
Handcrafted pick (sawn, carved, shaped and polished) using only workshop power tools.
Why Non-Standard Thickness?
The large thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Playing the guitar requires less effort, which is a relief for the player. As a result, the player will have fewer muscle cramps and tensions, and more comfortable playing.
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone)
PEEK is recognized as one of the most versatile and efficient materials on the market. A characteristic feature of PEEK is the combination of unique properties in one material.
Strength properties
- Hardness: high (similar to hard metal)
- Abrasion resistance: close to Torlon but still lower
- Stiffness: extreme – virtually zero deflection
- Chemical resistance: unsaturated – sweat resistant
Sound characteristics
- Attack: aggressive and fast with a metallic "ping" in the high notes
- Sound: bright, clear with excellent sound separation
