Craftsmanship

Handcrafted — sawn, carved, shaped and polished using workshop power tools.

The non-standard thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Playing requires less effort, reducing muscle cramps and tension for more comfortable long sessions.

Material: PEEK (Polyetheretherketone)

PEEK is recognized as one of the most versatile and efficient materials on the market, combining unique properties in a single material.

Strength properties:

  • Hardness: high (similar to hard metal)
  • Abrasion resistance: close to Torlon but still lower
  • Stiffness: extreme — virtually zero deflection
  • Chemical resistance: unsaturated — sweat resistant

Sound characteristics:

  • Attack: aggressive and fast with a metallic "ping" in the high notes
  • Sound: bright, clear with excellent note separation

Best for: Shredding, technical metal — wherever speed and note legibility are essential.

Material: Torlon (PAI)

Torlon is a material for perfectionists looking for indestructible durability, warm balanced sound, and precise control in technically demanding genres (progressive metal, fusion, jazz). An icon among premium materials — not for everyone, but in the hands of the right guitarist it becomes an irreplaceable tool.

Basic properties:

  • Ultra-durable thermoplastic from the polyamide-imide (PAI) group
  • Thermal resistance: above 270°C
  • Highest mechanical strength among thermoplastics — resistant to abrasion, cracking, impacts and creep
  • High stiffness with moderate vibration absorption — reduces metallic aftertaste
  • Low density (~1.4 g/cm³) — lightweight despite thicker size

Sound characteristics:

  • Timbre: warm, organic tone with emphasized midrange and deep bass
  • Attack: precise, less "glassy" than PEEK — more muffled but clear
  • Dynamic response: less analytical, more "musical" — ideal for blues, jazz, expressive genres

Durability:

  • Virtually indestructible — lasts years even during intensive play
  • Does not deform under pressure, moisture or time
  • Minimizes string wear thanks to smooth surface and low friction

Playability:

  • Very stiff — precise control over dynamics, ideal for shredding and tapping
  • Smooth surface facilitates sweep picking and arpeggios
  • Moderate vibration absorption reduces hand fatigue during long sessions
