The non-standard thickness minimizes movement, increases precision, strength and speed. Playing requires less effort, reducing muscle cramps and tension for more comfortable long sessions.

PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone):

• Exceptional stiffness, heat resistance (up to 250°C) and abrasion resistance
• Precise attack, bright highs and excellent note separation
• Best for: shredding, technical metal, fast alternate picking

UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene):

• Lowest coefficient of friction among plastics; excellent vibration absorption
• Dampens sharpness, adding warmth to midrange and bass depth
• Best for: blues, rock, chord playing, acoustic arpeggios

Torlon 4203 (PAI – Polyamide-imide):

• Highest mechanical resistance among thermoplastics
• Controlled vibration absorption — reduces metallic sharpness, adds midrange warmth
• Best for: extreme metal, progressive, demanding studio sessions

Ultem (Polyetherimide, PEI):

• Moderate stiffness with natural vibration absorption
• Warm, organic character with smooth attack and universal tone
• Best for: jazz, blues-rock, expressive playing styles
